Our client, a coal-fired power station south of Millmerran in the Darling Downs region of Queensland, is seeking a full-time Production Administrator to join their team. This position is a full-time role, based on site in Millmerran.
As a Production Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the power station. Your responsibilities will include collecting and managing data and databases, coordinating plant operations, and ensuring adherence to safety standards and procedures.
- Safety, Health & Environment
- Maintain safety systems for team members, contractors, and visitors.
- Implement safety and wellness programs.
- Take immediate action to prevent injury or at-risk behaviour.
- Proactively implement environmental control policies.
- Coordinating Plant Operations
- Coordinate operation and maintenance activities effectively.
- Ensure communication among relevant stakeholders.
- Administer shift roster and daily operating instructions.
- Manage delivery of essential gasses and fuel oil.
- Station Team Assistance
- Lead ProjectWise document control system administration.
- Assist in planning and coordinating plant outages.
- Identify and recommend improvements in operational systems.
- Participate in improvement studies.
- Plant Data and Reporting
- Assist in designing systems to audit plant performance.
- Manage databases and ensure correct data entry.
- Ensure accurate and timely report preparation.
- Provide data for investigations.
- Recommend changes to improve data collection processes.
- Complete statutory reporting.
- Plant Areas of Responsibility
- Ensure compliance with operating procedures.
- Assist in implementing system changes.
- Create new operating procedures as necessary.
- Scheduling and Planning experience (desirable).
- Diploma or Associate Diploma in a relevant field.
- Working knowledge of power station operational practices.
- Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety Act.
- Knowledge of emergency response procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
