Access the
Knowledge, experience or qualifications in public information and warnings and/or disaster management will be highly regarded. Capacity to support operational duties during disaster events. This may require work outside of normal hours (eg. night shift), including weekends, working extended hours and may include deployment to other parts of the State.
The core capability requirements for this role are:
- Lead the development of change, stakeholder engagement and communication strategies at a whole of program level
- Develop, deliver and manage program engagement and communication activities whilst applying program or change management methodologies
- Provide expert advice, support and guidance to leadership teams, stakeholder groups and program/project teams in support of deliverables
- Prepare and deliver submissions, reports, briefing material, media talking points, speeches and general correspondence for the Program
- Evaluate the effectiveness of stakeholder and communication initiatives in line with program objectives and report outcomes to Program Board
- Identify and evaluate change and stakeholder related risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies within the program governance
- Prepare, lead and deliver a range of communications, including workshops and meetings, to internal and external stakeholders, project team members and governance bodies
- Initiate, influence and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders through professional consultation to proactively manage needs, expectations, mitigate risks and support change
Qualification:
- A relevant qualification in project management, change management, communications or similar would be well regarded
