Communications Lead

We are looking for aCommunications Leadto join us on a contract basis. 

Start: ASAP
End: 19th July 2024
Hours: Full time hours with hybrid working options available

Your Part in our UnitingCare team:

• Develop and execute comprehensive communications plans.
• Create engaging content for various communications channels ( including newsletters, website, social media platforms and marketing materials).
  Manage and maintain the website content.
• Preparation and review of materials for regulators and funders.
• Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and distribute internal communications.
• Assist in communication efforts by preparing statements, managing inquiries and coordinating responses as needed.
   

What makes a difference for us: 

The successful candidate will ideally present with: 

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations or Journalism.
• Experience in external or internal communications strategy development and implementation.
• Proven experience of report development and writing.
• Proficient with: Microsoft products, Content management systems and publishing software, Social media and monitoring platforms, Graphic design and production software.
• Conscientious worker with attention to detail.
• Excellent, people focused communication skills.
