- Hybrid role – work from home and FitSkills sites
- Occasional travel to Victorian regional and rural FitSkills locations as required.

Down Syndrome Victoria (DSV) is Victoria’s peak organisation representing people with Down syndrome and their families. We are a community-based, not-for-profit membership association. We have a proud history of supporting individuals, families, and the community since 1978.

About the FitSkills Program
FitSkills is an evidence-based, 10-week physical activity program designed for individuals with Down syndrome. Participants attend weekly facilitated 1-hour workouts at the gym with a volunteer partner, followed by a social meal. The program is tailored by a physiotherapist. FitSkills aims to enhance fitness and well-being through a supportive and inclusive approach.
The FitSkills program is currently delivered at 3 metro locations, Brunswick, Coburg, and the City of Melbourne, and is soon to expand to regional locations. This program is an NDIS-funded activity and is in its first year of delivery.
About the role
DSV is looking for a Program Manager to lead and develop FitSkills. This position is suited to someone with qualifications and experience in delivering programs for adults with intellectual disability in a community setting.
You must have excellent people management and problem-solving skills and have a passion for delivering services that make a lasting impact to people with disabilities.

Key selection criteria:
- Strong knowledge of disability sector and community development
- Highly developed program management skills with a minimum of 2 years experience
- Excellent people management and problem-solving skills
