We are currently seeking a technically talented Project Administrator person to join team. This permanent position will support and contribute to the continued success of the project management team.
As a Project Administrator, you will oversee the coordination and administration of the steel fabrication/installation projects.
Responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating delivery, installation, and dismantling projects.
- Maintaining comprehensive project files to ensure document completeness.
- Scheduling subcontractors and suppliers as required.
- Documenting and monitoring project-related expenses.
- Generating and submitting necessary HSEQ documentation.
- Create and maintain administrative procedures, processes and monitor the effectiveness and implement improvements.
- Managing Non-Conformances.
- Creating purchase orders.
- Maintain databases.
- Dealing with suppliers.
- Invoicing clients for completed work.
- Working with Project managers, detailers, owners, and others to guarantee that goals are met.
- Counselling director manager on subjects requiring attention and executing their decisions.
- Reviewing contracts on behalf of the organisation.
- Reviewing and negotiating variations to contracts.
To be considered, you must have at least 5+ years of experience and demonstrate the following:
- Proven experience in a similar Project or Operational Support/Administrative role.
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Previous involvement in the Construction industry.
- Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in MS Excel, XERO, MYOB, Workflow, FastCut.
- Accurate and timely quoting and programming of jobs using VACAM.
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Working knowledge within the steel industry is highly regarded.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities, enabling confident interaction with diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Project management certificate with an engineering background.
Salary: $70,000 Annually plus Superannuation
