Project Coordinator

We currently have vacancy for a Project Coordinator to work on our client site based out of Heidelburg. The right candidate woulod have potentially come from the Building & Construction Industry, or Service Industry coordinating works.
  
About The Role
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, this role will provide dedicated support by assisting with the material requirements for fencing jobs. The person in this role will be required to take site measurements, photograph the site and fencing pull-downs, and perform minor repairs. They will also be involved in readying materials for jobs, helping to keep the workshop clean and safe, assist on-site workers in laying out materials, collecting and returning unused materials to stock, and tidying the site post-construction.
   

Estimating:

• Make site visits, take photos and measurements of the site
• Report back promptly with all information including any matters needing clarification

Client management:

• Enhance and maintain relationships with existing customers
• Respond to Council merits, perform pull downs and other onsite assistance

Project management:

• Start projects and get materials to site
• Ensure all materials are ready and loaded for the next day;
• Liaise with the Logistics Manager to ensure all jobs are manufactured and supplied in a timely manner to specification
• On site problem solving and liaising

Sub-Contractor management:

• Clarify onsite issues with contractors (installers, diggers, service locaters and others).

Organisation and Documentation:

• Maintain a detailed calendar and actively
• Supply office with all receipts for credit card purchases, Bunnings dockets, delivery documents etc.

  
What We Are Looking For?
The person we are looking for will have the following:

• Medium Rigid Truck Drivers Licence
• Construction Industry White Card,
• Forklift licence
• Working with Children Check Card.
• Experience in the fencing industry – both in the workshop and onsite.
• Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, drills, squares, callipers),
• Experience using welding equipment and procedures (MIG, ARC etc)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
