The Opportunity
Salary range between $89,000 and $102,000 dependant on experience
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to be part of an organisation dedicated to nation-building renewable energy projects that will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.
In your new role, you will be responsible for providing support and advice to the Project Director and Senior Project Managers with the coordination of resources, equipment, meetings, and information. The Project Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the Project Team is providing timely support to its customers, both within Transgrid and external.
The nature of the work activities dictates that the position has a significant degree of autonomy and as such must be a “self-starter” who is highly organised and has a high level of attention to detail in ensuring the Team and its outputs are timely and accurate.
As the Project Coordinator you will:
Maintain and monitor project documentation
Organise and attend project related meetings as well as documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings. (Consultation Manager, Team Binder etc)
Ensure project deadlines are met by managing action follow up and maintaining action registers (using RiskTools, Excel or similar software)
Assist in processing formatting, collating and preparing documentation for submission to key internal and external stakeholders, eg, customers, the regulator and the Board.
Provide advanced support for the team in the use of the MS office suite of products including templates used for consistent presentation of information
Establish and maintain a project records system
Manage and track the administrative aspects of consultant and contractor engagements
Skills & Experience
Relevant qualifications or equivalent and/or relevant knowledge and competence gained through experience
A current Australian driver’s licence.
Proficiency in the use of relevant corporate information systems i.e., Ellipse, MS Project
Sound knowledge of and proven experience in PC software i.e., Windows, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint
Ability to liaise with customers and stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external.
Able to work in a team environment effectively
Good written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of relevant Transgrid policies and procedures
