Project Coordinator
The Australian Orthopaedic Association is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support the Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) program and Core Registry activities.

AOA has more than 2,000 members – consisting of most orthopaedic consultants and trainees (registrars) in Australian hospitals and spanning all orthopaedic subspecialties.
The position
Working as part of a team, the Project Coordinator will play a key role in coordinating, supporting and implementing the PROMs program, along with supporting Core Registry activities as required.
The Project Coordinator will be key in maintaining positive stakeholder relationships, developing project documentation, plans, updates and reports, and will undertake a variety of complex administrative duties in support of program objectives.
The position is based in the Adelaide CBD.
Key selection criteria:
- Degree qualification in a relevant field with extensive relevant experience; or
- Extensive experience and management expertise of complex projects; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
- Demonstrated high-level project management skills with a record of successfully coordinating or supporting projects through to completion in accordance with agreed standards, timeframes and budgets
- Highly developed planning and organisational skills, with experience establishing priorities, allocating resources and meeting deadlines
- Demonstrated capacity to provide formal and informal leadership in a complex project
- Knowledge of and experience in preparing and submitting ethics and local governance applications
- Highly developed relationship-management skills, including the ability to interact with, and gain cooperation from, a variety of stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including experience in developing professional documentation and presenting information
- Advanced computer literacy with experience in the use of a wide range of applications
- Experience in or knowledge of the health/hospital system within Australia.
