With the company showing continued growth, we are seeking experienced Project Managers to join our Building and Construction team to work on various projects across our extensive portfolio based in SA, WA and NT. Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, your primary responsibility will be to manage projects from contract award through execution and close-out successfully. The role requires effectively managing internal and external stakeholders and processes to deliver the projects on time, within budget, and with the desired outcomes aligned with the company’s objectives.

The role will include, but is not limited to:
- Planning, organising, and directing the completion of projects within a given time frame, budget and scope.
- Building effective communication and positive relationships with internal and external stakeholder management.
- Effective Project planning – including cost and schedule estimation where required.
- Undertaking risk analysis and development of project planning artefacts.
- Understanding commercial processes, including cost control, project reporting, procurement and contract management.
- Ensuring compliance with customers and company safety, quality and business processes.
- Ensuring compliance in accordance with contract terms and conditions for the project in alignment with Company policies and procedures.
- Keeping stakeholders updated through internal and accurate project reporting.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management or related discipline.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Engineer position working in delivering Defence, Defence Industry, Industrial or Commercial projects.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of Building and construction processes, techniques, and building regulations.
- Problem-solving and innovation skills as an individual and as a team player.
- Experience in managing construction scheduling and cost/cash flow management.
- Construction White Card and Current driver’s license.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong commitment to Work Health & Safety and Environmental standards.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Applications.
- Ability to obtain DCSI and Australian Defence Security Clearance.
- Willingness to travel within South Australia or interstate to our regional construction sites as required for construction oversight.
- Experience using Procore and Pronto or similar related Project Management & ERP programs (Desirable).
- PMP certification or equivalent would be regarded favourably.
