The organisation is currently facing a pressing challenge: the need for new land to support community development. As efforts to address this issue intensify, the organisation seeks a dynamic individual to spearhead its land acquisition and development initiatives. Your new role
Work alongside the lead on the acquisition process for a new site, navigating the complexities of local council, state government, and community approvals.
Oversee master planning, feasibility assessments, planning approvals, and on-site development to ensure a seamless transition from acquisition to construction.
Manage project costs, engage with consultants, and procure necessary resources for Land Development.
Collaborate closely with quantity surveyors and other stakeholders to ensure the land is ready for development.
What you'll need to succeed
Strong project management skills with experience in high-level project planning and execution.
Knowledge of land acquisition processes, including regulatory requirements and stakeholder engagement.
Ability to manage budgets, facilities, and overall project costs effectively.
Excellent communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders, including Development, Surveyors, local and state governments and communities.
Flexible approach to work, with the capacity to adapt to changing priorities and timelines.
