SalaryRole: Project Manager – Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
Heston MRO Pty Ltd (Heston MRO) is a provider of world class Aircraft Maintenance services to a wide variety of domestic and international airlines.
Based in Brisbane with operations at all major Australian airports, we are seeking someone to join our close knit, professional Project team.
Our Opportunity
Based at Melbourne International Airport Terminal or our Brisbane Head Office, we are ideally looking for B1 LAMEs with B737NG and B737Max as a minimum. Additional coverage is helpful but not essential.
The Heston Project team delivers multi-disciplinary projects of both short and long term duration. The Project Manager must be hands on and operational, with a willingness to be shoulder-to-shoulder with the team. In addition to B1 LAME technical experience, the Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Engineering solution development with the HMRO leadership team
- Strategic procurement overseeing tooling, consumables, parts and the traceability of all
- Labour planning against work pack
- Accurate completion of all aircraft paperwork
- Relationship management and reporting to stakeholders including airport authorities, the client, CAMO and internal HMRO teams.
We also require:-
- Australian Citizenship, permanent residency or eligibility for a suitable work visa
- Ability to satisfy recency requirements (in the two years, you have had at least six months experience in exercising the privileges for your licenced endorsement) and can provide evidence of this requirement in documentation form
- Safety, quality and following regulations are your top priority
- You will be ASIC and ADA eligible
- Hold a valid state driving licence
- Excellent English communication skills
This is a permanent role, at times requiring temporary relocation for project sites and/or weekend work.
Salary: $150,000.00 per year
