Project Manager - Drainage, Water & Sewer Utilities (West & North Melbourne)

My client i a leading drainage, water & sewer utilities contractor based in Melbourne's West who are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful installation of essential utilities assets in new subdivisions across Melbourne's west and north.
About the Role:
- Lead and manage all aspects of assigned drainage, water, and sewer projects, from pre-construction to completion.
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Manage project risks and ensure adherence to all safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality control procedures.
- Oversee sub-contractors and ensure their work meets project specifications and deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and internal teams.
- Prepare and manage project documentation, including reports, budgets, and meeting minutes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project delivery processes.
What you'll bring:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in project management within the civil construction or utilities sector.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
- Strong understanding of drainage, water, and sewer infrastructure installation processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in project management methodologies and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- A valid Victorian Construction Industry White Card and willingness to obtain other relevant licenses.
- A strong commitment to safety, quality, and environmental sustainability.
