Key Responsibilities:
- Manage construction planning, programming, and completion schedules;
- Effectively manage and monitor construction performance and progress;
- Work closely with the projects team to ensure timely delivery of programmed requirements from a cost and time perspective;
- Subcontractor, plant and equipment management;
- Cost control;
- Maintain and apply all relevant standards and polices;
- Managing the relationship and communication with the client and all stakeholders, ensuring the project is delivered to their satisfaction;
- Managing and adjusting for any changes in project scope, schedule and / or budget;
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks;
- Leadership and management skills with the ability to mentor others;
- Management of employees, plant, and equipment.
Qualifications & Capabilities Required:
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering with minimum 5+ years' experience;
- Strive towards safety, environmental, specification, design and contractual requirements;
- Possess drivers license and must be willing to travel to various sites across QLD & NSW;
- High attention to detail;
- Committed to ongoing learning and high performance;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to deliver on tight deadlines;
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills;
- Enthusiastic, driven, focused & reliable;
- Experience in civil engineering or construction is essential, as is a professional attitude and strong work ethic;
- TMR and RMS specification experience is highly regarded.
