The role
Working within the Portfolio Management Office part of the Instructure & Operations Directorate you will be responsible for managing the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of various council projects and programs, from the detailed design phase through to handover/commission. In this role you will need to ensure that projects are delivered to the agreed criteria, ensuring safety, cost, timeliness, quality, scope and customer satisfaction are consistent with council’s strategy, commitments and goals.
To be eligible for this position you will ideally have qualifications in engineering, or construction management (or a related field) and/or demonstrated experience working as a superintendent and/or project manager for small to medium size projects.
