Project Officer - Major Projects

Seeking an experienced Project Officer for a 6 month contract role. Major Projects. (Construction/Government)

Aspect Personnel are currently working with a state government organisation to recruit a Project Officer for an initial 3-6 month contract.
You will be responsible for supporting a team of Senior Project Officers to deliver a portfolio of minor works construction projects in the education space.

You will be responsible for:

• Provide project admin and coordination support to Senior Project Officers.
• Assist in management of contractors and consultants.
• Liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
• Documentation and contract management.
• Preparing reports.
• Updating project plans and schedules.

As the ideal candidate you will have:

• A tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Project Management, and/or Building Construction with relevant experience
• Experience in project and/ or construction coordination/management
• Previous experience working within a government environment
• Great stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
