We are currently partnering with the Queensland Fire & Emergency Services to recruit a couple of Contract Project Support / Project Coordinator roles.
This is an initial contract through to 30th of June + possible extensions, is based in Albion and offers a hybrid working environment.
The role
The primary objective of this engagement is to provide comprehensive Project Delivery Support service for multiple project assignments across the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Portfolio
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple project boards by scheduling meetings, distributing documents, recording minutes, and tracking actions.
- Coordinate project assurance activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support Portfolio Management by assisting with engagement coordination and communication with stakeholders.
- Prepare project reports, ensuring timely communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Efficiently manage project resources in collaboration with Project and Portfolio Delivery Managers.
You'll work closely with Project Managers and Portfolio Delivery Managers to support the development and delivery of projects in alignment with agreed objectives and requirements and the existing ICT Portfolio Delivery and Portfolio Management framework, methods, tools, and processes.
Skills Required
- Minimum 2 Years experience in a Project Support / Coordination role
- Previous Government experience
- Be based in the Brisbane market and able to commence within 2 weeks.
- Exceptional communications skills - written & verbal.
