The Position.
This is an exciting opportunity for an A-grade electrician or Engineer, preferably with some exposure to power electronics, to join a committed service team to launch their career in the Power electronics industry. The successful applicant will be responsible for the Sydney and surrounding region including installing, commissioning, servicing and maintaining new and existing equipment predominantly in the Greater Sydney region, however occasional travel elsewhere in Australia may be necessary.
The Person.
We are seeking applications from suitably qualified Electricians or Engineers with or willing to obtain a restricted electrical license, who have a high degree of self-motivation, and are ready for a role that will extend their ability. The successful candidate will be one of the faces of Thycon in Sydney, so excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills is a must.
Qualifications and Experience.
A Grade Electrician's Licence, OR
Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering qualifications (must have or be willing to obtain a restricted electrical license)
Excellent customer support skills.

As much of our work in NSW is on Defence sites, the successful applicant must be able to get a Defence Common Access Clearance (DCAC). Requirements for this include being an Australian Citizen and obtaining a National Police Check. The clearance is conducted by AGSVA (Australian Government Security Vetting Agency). You may be required to upgrade to a higher defence clearance level.
