As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the upkeep of the Residence as well as the family's office based in Sydney's CBD. This role is reporting to the House Manager and will be part of a small team of staff based at the residence. Your duties will include;
- Managing Reactive and Preventative Maintenance
- Minor property repairs (i.e. light bulbs, door hinges, etc)
- Maintaining an adequate inventory of supplies
- Upkeep of gardens and entranceways
- Work closely with the House Manager
- Inspect grounds, facilities, and equipment routinely
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate general maintenance, major repairs
To be suitable for this role, you must have:
- Must have previous experience and background in all areas of hands-on maintenance
- Qualifications in trade or trade-related enterprises would be beneficial but not essential
- Basic computer skills
- Have a friendly team player demeanor and be able to take instruction
- Excellent communication skills
- Have a valid driver’s license and car
- Excellent support and team culture
- Very autonomous role
- Flexible start and finish times, no weekend work!
- The role requires minimal travel
