An exciting opportunity is currently available for an enthusiastic Property and Workplace Assistant to join our Property and Workplace team in Brisbane on a part-time, casual basis.
 

The Property & Workplace Assistant is responsible for supporting the office premises in accordance with the requests from the Partnership group and the Property & Workplace Manager.
 

This role is ideal for someone who is looking to begin their career in a progressive firm that offers a supportive working environment with a commitment to career development. Reporting to the Property and Workplace Manager, your primary responsibility will be to assist with printing, working in the mail room, archiving and e-archiving tasks and assisting and undertaking projects set by the Property & Workplace Manager when required.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting the mail and print room function of the Brisbane office on lunch breaks, non-working days, holidays, and sick days
  • Learning every facet of the Property and Workplace Print/Mailroom
  • Ability to cover roles and tasks as required with instruction from the Property & Workplace Manager
  • Provide back up to the Property & Workplace Coordinator, in printing, photocopying, binding and scanning when required
  • Make sure that all photocopying and binding needs meets firm quality assurance standards
  • Prioritise work to ensure that deadlines are met and taking accountability for any work done
  • Advise staff of production delays as appropriate
  • Handle all files confidentially
  • Distribute all incoming mail and couriers in a confidential timely fashion and advise staff of mail or courier delays as appropriate 
  • Record all out going express, registered mail and incoming couriers and order mail and courier supplies when needed
  • Maintain and order stationery and print room supplies in line with budget
  • Ensure that the shredding bins are taken to the good lifts area for collection once a fortnight
  • Organise Access Cards for New Staters, Visitors and Temporary Replacement Cards for Staff
  • Ensure that all name and desks are numbered appropriately and update desk name and number when required 
  • Assist Property & Workplace Coordinator with E-Archiving related duties as required
  • Assist Property & Workplace Coordinator with Safe Custody related duties as required

  • General understanding of professional printing environment
  • Flexible, down to earth with good interpersonal skills
  • Completes all projects to a high-quality standard, with attention to detail and in a time effective manner
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong client service ethic
  • A team player attitude and the ability to work under pressure, autonomously, using initiative
  • Experience in all aspects of PrintRoom duties 
  • Understanding of photocopiers, binding and franking machines
