Hays are proud to be working with a large national health organisation who are on the lookout for multiple psychologists of all skill levels, including provisional, to join their team.
You will be joining a national team of 200+ Psychologists working under the NDIS and private sector performing clinical services to participants aged 0-65 with various diagnoses and disability types. You will have the opportunity to develop, extend and deepen your clinical expertise in a friendly, well-supported team and in an organisation that values your growth, passion and skills.
While providing psychological practice you will be using CBT, ACT & DBT, and person-centred and trauma-informed approaches through ongoing psychological counselling. This client also offers a full range of psychological assessments, including mental health, IQ, psychoeducational, school readiness, decision-making capacity, autism and ADHD assessments. There will be the opportunity to receive training to develop your skills in this area and administer such assessments to applicable clients. Experience in the provision of cognitive and autism assessments will be looked upon favourably, as will endorsement in Clinical Neuropsychology, Clinical Psychology or Educational and Developmental Psychology.
You will work across various environments, including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, community, and/or offices.
What you'll need to succeed
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology
- For Registrar Program: Ability to become registered with AHPRA in a Registrar program – e.g., clinical psychology, clinical neuropsychology, education and developmental psychology, or forensic psychology
- For endorsed positions: registration with AHPRA with endorsement in clinical psychology, clinical psychology, clinical neuropsychology, education and developmental psychology, or forensic psychology
- Registration or ability to become registered with AHPRA
- A car and licence
- A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or able to get one for a client facing role (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)
