About the Role:
Reporting to the Procurement Manager - Oceania, the successful candidate will:
- Take a leadership position in supplier negotiations and performance reviews to deliver sustainable positive outcomes for the group for assigned portfolio
- Develop, maintain, coordinate, prepare, evaluate and circulate various Procurement studies, drafting of Contracts, SLAs, KPIs and other reports pertaining to the areas of Procured Services under management in liaison with the department managers, commercial, sales teams and IT
- Assist in sourcing and smooth implementation of contracts for assigned portfolio
- Identify and implement cost savings, assess demand planning and conduct supply chain analyses
- Manage existing contracts to ensure Group's interests are protected and suppliers fulfill contractual obligations
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- To be qualified in Procurement, Finance, Logistics and/or Supply Chain
- Minimum 6 years independent handling of domestic and international procurement portfolio
- Shipping, Port or Transport industry experience
- Proven ability to handle service providers and operational personnel
- Excellent understanding of the Microsoft Office suite of programs, particularly Excel
