About the role:
The primary duty associated with this role is to provide telephone-based personal and general financial advice. Reporting to the Senior Manager, your responsibilities will also include delivering high-quality, member-centric retirement advice to all cohort members, primarily through phone interactions but occasionally in face-to-face settings.
Furthermore, the role entails identifying opportunities to improve and increase the member advice experience within the Fund to foster membership growth and retention.
Duties:
- Provide outstanding personal and general advice to ensure members receive exceptional service
- Identify opportunities to contribute to member growth and retention objectives
- Stay informed and possess a comprehensive understanding of the superannuation industry, encompassing legislative, product, and provider dimensions
- Keep updated with all compliance & technical knowledge around legislative and regulatory requirements to provide quality advice in the client’s best interest
- Provide a strong sense of professionalism and a member-centric approach
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Financial Planner
- Relevant Financial Planning qualifications & successful completion of the Financial Adviser exam
- Experience with Xplan is considered desirable but not essential
- Familiarity with Industry Fund Services is desirable but not essential
- Be highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while working to and exceeding outcome targets
- Have a highly organised work discipline and prioritisation skills
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have the ability to build and maintain effective relationships both internally and externally
