We have an exciting opportunity for a QA Systems Manager to join the Quality Operations team. This position is based at our Penrith manufacturing facility with responsibilities across our Penrith, Milperra and Crookwell sites.
This position will be integral in managing the QA Systems team across the business in Australia. You will be responsible for ensuring products released for sale meet quality specifications and regulatory compliance and ensuring that key QA systems are in place and meet regulatory and GMP requirements.
Supporting the activities of the QA team, your duties will include:
- Design, development and implementation of Quality systems to ensure compliance with the Australian code of GMP
- Proposes resource requirements and appropriate organisational structure to meet the strategic missions, critical success factors and business outcomes for the department
- Management of QA systems to ensure systems follow a process, are controlled by procedures and have relevant steps documented
- Ensuring all QA systems have an ongoing review and improvement program
- Work with external regulatory bodies to ensure GMP compliance and maintenance
- Management of compliance projects
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- a tertiary qualification in science and/or Quality Management or similar
- demonstrated knowledge of Quality principles, chemistry, microbiology, statistical techniques and GMP
- at least 5 years experience in a technical QA position with preference in a veterinary biological or pharmaceutical organisation
- the ability to supervise and lead a team and possess managerial courage
- the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal situations
- excellent project management skills
- a certificate in Quality auditing would be desirable.
