The Role

• Develop, and help drive the site quality strategy to maintain the performance and quality culture.
• Lead and drive the delivery of the Quality Improvement Program
• Ensure compliance to the site quality and technical initiatives across the site
• Coordinating any required trials (product and packaging) and for developing and
  maintaining product specificationsManage regulatory relationships and ensure site compliance to all relevant regulatory legislation.
• Drive a Zero Defect mentality through Right First Time thinking and elimination of consumer complaints to root cause.
• Lead continuous improvement across Quality, Food Safety & waste.
• Plan and conduct internal reviews/audits of our management systems and practices to ensure compliance to legislation and various company accreditations
• Lead with a focus on continuous improvement and a positive 'can do' attitude

• Sound knowledge of food science and food chemistry
• Ability to work under limited supervision and independently
• Strong communication skills – written and verbal
• The ability to gather and interpret data
• Excellent leadership and people management skills with demonstrated ability to achieve results
• Strong customer focus
• Ability to achieve results through influencing others
• Ability to manage competing tasks under pressure
• Demonstrated effective delegation techniques
• Good understanding and ability to implement HACCP, Food Safety, GMP and GFSI systems
