Our local team of healthy living professionals is seeking a Receptionist with a compassionate, cheerful disposition and a strong interest in working with people to create a welcoming client experience for people making contact with us, and to work closely with the Program Administrator and Team Leader to create an efficient and friendly office environment.
Our ideal candidate is seeking part time afternoon work. To give our clients the best experience, we would like to fill the role Monday to Friday between 2pm and 5pm however we are open to discussing other arrangements based on a minimum of 3 days per week, working until 5pm, making it an excellent opportunity for a tertiary student to earn while they learn. The areas of study we think are well suited include business, health and community services, but we'd love to hear from you if you are on another pathway. The role also lends itself to an experienced person seeking a refreshing role in primary health care.
Working alongside our Program Administrator, you can expect to:
- Professionally greet and assist all clients and visitors entering the service - face to face, telephone and email
- Manage the end-to-end process for appointments including telehealth, providing high level customer service at all times
- Coordinate responses to enquiries
- Maintain a high standard of document uploads to the client relationship management system
- Maintain excellent presentation of reception and waiting areas
- Assist in reporting and other service level data requirements, and other administration duties as needed
The skills we are looking for are:
- Digital literacy and skills in Microsoft Office and software
- Demonstrated capability to prioritise to manage your own workload and achieve outcomes in a busy environment
- Excellent attention to detail, displaying compassion, professionalism and the ability to establish good rapport with colleagues and clients
- High level communication and organisational skills
- Diligent, can-do attitude and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
- Previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded
In addition, the successful candidate must be willing to provide a national police certificate and working with children check.
We offer an hourly rate between $27.00 and $28.16 per hour (annual full time equivalent $53,352 to $55,644). Additional benefits include:
