Casual Receptionist

Key Duties:

Answering phone calls, booking appointments, billing patients, faxing referrals, dealing with patient queries on the phone, checking appointment bookings, liaising with doctors and allied health. Other duties will include Medicare billing, processing rebates and other administrative tasks as allocated by the Practice Manager.

The hours for the role will be 8 am to 4.30 pm and though the role is casual, the incumbent will be required to provide coverage for annual leave and other leave and assistance to other functional areas of Killarney Memorial.

Skills and Experience

• Experience in office administration, particularly servicing customers with varied needs
• Sound customer service skills including communicating with diverse range of stakeholders
• Able to work as part of a team and manage multiple priorities
• Able to maintain confidentiality and empathetic to clients
• High level of Microsoft Office Suite and learn Patient Information Systems

We have 60 residential aged care beds, a home care service, a medical centre and other community-based services. We strive to enable all our residents and clients to maintain independence and connection with their community.
