We are in a period of exciting and significant investment in our Faculty of Medicine and Health and in order to deliver on the University's ambitious strategic plan, we are seeking a Receptionist to provide superior hospitality and first point of service (in person/email/telephone) to every visitor to the Faculty of Medicine and Health Executive Dean's Unit.
This role is full time in the office with no WFH opportunity.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Provide reception, hospitality and general administrative services and operational support to the Executive Dean's Unit
- facilitate and manage the Executive Dean's Unit's reception and meeting spaces.
- provides administrative and project support for the team
- delivers daily services and administration activities ensuring that high quality and efficient front-of-house and administrative support is provided in a pro-active manner to the Executive Dean's Unit.
- explores administrative matters and prepares advice, recommendations and solutions related to specific projects, policies and operational issues
- undertakes ad-hoc projects and other activities
About you
- Experience providing excellent customer service in a high-volume environment while maintaining a friendly and welcoming demeanour.
- advanced skills in standard office software packages (e.g. Word/Excel) and ability to learn and apply new systems quickly.
- excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in handling a wide range of enquiries
- strong problem solving skills and the ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement and ability to prioritise workload during busy periods.
