Our central office is located in Carrum Downs with easy access to major arterial routes. We service clients across Melbourne, Bayside, Southeast Suburbs, and the Mornington Peninsula. We are on a journey of growth, diversification, and renewal to take us to the next level and enhance our value proposition to our loyal and growing client base. This includes growth within existing practice areas and the addition of new practice areas. We are seeking a receptionist who has a willingness to learn and develop in the role to join our busy team.
About You
You are looking for a role that allows you to consolidate your reception skills within a medium-sized, client-focused, and friendly team of professionals.
You are looking for a full-time role with long-term career prospects and a competitive salary and would you like to work in a profession offering secure employment and career advancement.
You do not need to have legal sector experience to succeed in this role but must possess outstanding customer service skills, possess outstanding communication skills, and importantly a willingness to learn. A knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and computer literacy is required.
Previous professional services reception or administration experience is an advantage but not a requirement
Tasks & responsibilities
- Answering incoming phone calls promptly and directing calls as required
- Accurate message-taking and prompt communication of the message to the appropriate recipient
- Managing reception emails by responding to them or forwarding them to the appropriate staff member
- Meeting and greeting clients, assisting them with queries, and settling them into meeting rooms
- General reception duties demonstrating the ability to act as a positive ambassador for the firm
- Diary management
- Board room and client meeting room booking management
- Appropriate handling of confidential client information and documentation
- Responding to queries by email and correspondence
