Job Description
We are currently seeking a professional and diligent Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our company, the Receptionist plays a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our clients, partners, and employees. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanour, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate personnel or department
- Answer inbound calls and direct them accordingly
- Respond to enquiries from clients, vendors, and the public in a courteous and timely manner
- Maintain a neat and organised reception area
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and package
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including data entry and filing
- Coordinate meeting room bookings and assist with scheduling appointments
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Assist the Executive Team
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and initiative driven
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems is advantageous
- Experience in the waste management or environmental services industry is desirable but not required
