About the Role
Gladstone Ports Corporation is seeking applications from suitably experienced candidates for the Permanent fulltime position of Receptionist, to provide coverage for our Kullaroo House reception.
This role provides initial contact and enquires from the community, clients and staff and also provides comprehensive administrative support services to ensure efficient and reliable office operations.
In addition, you will:
- Provide general administrative services and support to the Office of the CEO by:
Being the first point of contact for external organisations and the community. - Carrying out general office procedures including receipt of telephone and off–the-street enquires, assessment and referral of incoming correspondence, preparation and mailing of outgoing correspondence, word processing and spread sheeting, updating of Reception Area procedures and instructions.
- Provision of procurement administration.
- Arranging Travel for various departments as requested.
- Provide coverage for the Administration Officer role as required.
- Complete general tasks required by the Executive Coordinator, Executive and Senior Management.
- Project a positive image of the GPC in the course of carrying out the duties of the Receptionist.
About You
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Receptionist who has great personal drive, a high level of communication and administrative skills and is adept at working collaboratively across all Departments.
Experience in MS Office programs, JD Edwards and skilled in data management would be highly regarded.
