We are a small Podiatry Practice located in Penrith and looking for the right person to join the team.
If you are an independent starter, wanting a great work/life balance, we want you to join us as a Receptionist working 4 days a fortnight.
As the first point of contact with our clients, excellent customer service and a warm professional manner is key to the role.
Daily duties include:-
- Welcoming patients and visitors, answering the telephone and any enquiries.
- Scheduling appointments and managing multiple practitioner diaries (Cliniko)
- Assisting patients with completing necessary forms and documentation, as well as ensuring that all information acquired is accurate and current
- Keeping a clean, calm and collected reception area
- Processing patients payments (Hicaps, Medicare & DVA)
- Processing Medicare through Medipass
- Faxing, scanning, filing and mailing
- Equipment sterilisation and cleaning
- Monitoring & ordering stationery and clinical supplies to maintain a working supply at all times
Required skills and attributes
- Computer literacy
- Excellent telephone skills
- Customer service experience
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent communication skills
Desirable
- Previous experience in Medical reception
- Knowledge with Hicaps & Medicare
This role is a job-share with another amazing Receptionist, so the right person will easily transition into the role. Flexibility/availability to cover sickness/holidays is required. Must have licence and vehicle as not close to public transport, and the possibility to attend our Glenmore Park Clinic to drop off/collect instruments/paperwork.
