Jarm Adjusting is a specialist engineering and property insurance loss adjusting practice, and part of a national network (ASTA Group) forming the largest wholly Australian owned loss adjusting organisation in Australia.
Loss adjusters, sometimes referred to as assessors, are insurance professionals that manage claims for insurance companies, working on the front line to help policyholders put their lives back together when things go wrong, often in times of disaster such a fires, floods, storms and cyclones.
The position is designed at entry level to provide a fantastic opportunity for someone with no prior qualifications or work experience. The role is a full time position in our Carlisle office, which has on-site secure parking, outdoor break facilities, close to train and bus services, as well as walking distance to local shops.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- General reception duties, such as telephone calls and emails
- Data entry
- Lodging claims into our custom claims management database
- Time sheets and invoicing
- Typing and clerical
About You:
- Well presented
- Reliable
- Enthusiastic
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft programs
- Data base systems experience is preferred but not essential
