Receptionist

Mogo Day Surgery is a regional day hospital which has been providing great care to the South Coast community for over a decade.  We are known for our staff's commitment to excellence and the warm welcome that we offer to our patients.  To support our growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced receptionist / administrative assistant to join our friendly and supportive patient-focused team.

This role delivers essential parts of patient experience:

• Creating a positive experience for patients and specialists
• Liaising with specialists regarding patient bookings
• Preparation and explanation of patient information including pre-procedure instructions
• Creating consulting and theatre lists
• Welcoming patients and helping them with their consultation or admission
• Answer incoming phone calls
• Generating invoices
• Other administrative duties as required,

About you:

• Excellent customer service skills,
• Prefer experience in a medical environment, and experience in medical practice software
• Ability to multitask,
• Enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, attention to detail and a positive approach,
• Reliability and flexibility.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and must show initiative whilst being able to work independently within a supportive team.
• General computer literacy and proficient data entry skills
• Availability for flexible working hours
