Mogo Day Surgery is a regional day hospital which has been providing great care to the South Coast community for over a decade. To support our growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced receptionist / administrative assistant to join our friendly and supportive patient-focused team.
This role delivers essential parts of patient experience:
- Creating a positive experience for patients and specialists
- Liaising with specialists regarding patient bookings
- Preparation and explanation of patient information including pre-procedure instructions
- Creating consulting and theatre lists
- Welcoming patients and helping them with their consultation or admission
- Answer incoming phone calls
- Generating invoices
- Other administrative duties as required,
About you:
- Excellent customer service skills,
- Prefer experience in a medical environment, and experience in medical practice software
- Ability to multitask,
- Enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, attention to detail and a positive approach,
- Reliability and flexibility.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and must show initiative whilst being able to work independently within a supportive team.
- General computer literacy and proficient data entry skills
- Availability for flexible working hours
