Your part in our UnitingCare Community team
We are currently seeking a driven and experienced Receptionist to join our Family Services based at the Limestone Street, Ipswich office on a Part-Time basis (30.4 hours per fortnight).
This rewarding and challenging role will give you the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of the communities' most vulnerable.
The purpose of the role is to contribute to the operational objectives of the site by performing a range of reception, administration and financial functions to support the management and operational team of the Family and Disability Service streams.
What makes a difference for us?
The successful candidate will present with the following:
- Minimal 2 years experience in performing administration duties
- Certificate II in Business administration
- Demonstrated ability to manage general financial functions
- Positive Blue card or the willingness to obtain one.
- Experience within the Community service sector or not-for-profit sector
- Have current First Aid and CPR or willingness to obtain.
Essential
- Sound Microsoft Suite skills and knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to act professionally at all times and work under pressure
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships
- Ability to liaise with a diverse range of people with discretion and confidentiality
