Our Audiology clinic is looking for a medical receptionist/administrator who is a happy and caring person to join our administration team. Part time or full time hours can be considered, with the ability to also cover holidays and sick days.
We pride ourselves on our friendly and professional care of patients and being a people person is the number one criteria for this position.
Daily tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Excellent customer service – you will be the first point of contact for our patients, in person and on the phone.
- Maintaining confidentiality while managing patient records.
- Processing payments and Medicare claims
- Effective management of patient appointments
- General administration and office duties
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Experience within an audiology, allied health or medical environment preferred
- Professional, friendly, confident, and courteous manner
- High work ethic
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and prioritise
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
- High level of attention to detail
- Enthusiasm, willingness, and ability to learn and retain information
