Reporting to the Business Support Manager, the Recruitment Officer has the responsibility of recruiting, shortlisting, and onboarding employees.
The successful applicant will have experience in:
- Preparing job adverts and posting them on relevant platforms
- Identifying assertive methods of recruitment to maximise candidate pool and attract diverse talent
- Shortlisting potential applicants, scheduling and facilitating of interviews
- Conducting background / reference checks
- Liaising with external recruitment agencies
- Managing the electronic onboarding process ensuring compliance documentation is valid and current
- Meeting agreed upon KPI's
- Communicating with Residential Care Coordinators and Regional Operations Managers to identify the recruitment needs in each region.
- Welcoming new employees to the organisation
The successful applicant will have strong attention to detail, possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills and be committed to delivering a high level of outcomes regarding the staff we hire to support the young people in our care.
Essential Criteria:
The successful applicant will:
- Have previous experience in recruitment (minimum 1-2 years experience in a similar role)
- Possess the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work well under pressure in a high performing environment
- Experience maintaining employee compliance databases
- Be well organised with a high attention to detail
- Have exceptional communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships
- Be resilient with a good level of emotional intelligence
- Possess or be willing to obtain a Blue Card
