Due to expansion, Chemtronics Biomedical Engineering, part of CTG, currently has vacancy for a Regional Operations Manager based at our Rydalmere facility.
The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for Chemtronics Biomedical Engineering in NSW and the ACT. This person is responsible for successfully coordinating and directing all workshop, field and client based service and operational activities to ensure the highest customer satisfaction level, account retention, strong employee relations, achievement of financial goals and future business growth plans.
In addition to achieving operational excellence, a key focus of this role is coaching, mentoring and ongoing development of direct reports.
A post-graduate management qualification or commitment to post-graduate management studies will be highly regarded. Knowledge of public and/or private health sectors and considerable experience in the Biomedical Engineering service industry are essential to the successful performance of this role.
Duties:-
- Manage and provide input to the ongoing development of the business plan and budget for the region;
- Manage costs and achieve budget targets for the region;
- Support business development activities within the region including new account acquisition and customer retention initiatives;
- Ensure that service delivery is consistent with quality objectives and contractual requirements;
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to service and quality standards as well as client satisfaction;
- Take the lead in proactive communication with clients regarding our services as well as performance or other issues relating to the contract;
- Provide feedback to management as needed on unique client requirements and opportunities to expand the client relationship;
- Schedule and conduct regular customer and staff meetings;
- Participate as a member of the national Chemtronics Biomedical Engineering management team;
- Provide a point of escalation for complex technical & clinical issues;
- Manage a growing technical workforce, ensuring adequate capabilities and performance consistent with targets and standards;
- Provide an environment of ongoing staff development;
- Understand and implement documentation control processes incorporated in our management systems;
- Provide leadership and a working environment for staff and customers which upholds the mission and values of Cabrini Health.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Tertiary qualification in an Electronic, Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering discipline;
- Extensive knowledge and experience of Biomedical Engineering and electronic/mechanical technologies in healthcare environment;
- Business and financial management skills;
- Account management and business development experience;
- Proven leadership;
- Exceptional communication skills and high-level PC literacy;
- Knowledge of ISO9001 Quality Systems, Australian Standard AS3551, AS3003 and AS2896.
- Ability to mentor, manage, train and develop staff.
