About your new role:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our dedicated residential team on a part-time basis at our facility in Gwelup. You will have the opportunity to contribute to our residents pursuing their unique personal goals and passions, enabling them to live full and meaningful lives. This means understanding what matters most to our residents and working together to ensure we deliver on this commitment every day.
Duties:
- Develop individualised, person-centred support that promotes physical and emotional wellbeing
- Provide direct clinical care and oversee the delivery of clinical and allied health services
- Report on clinical incidents and care related events
- Create and monitor care plans and assessments for residents
- Provide leadership and supervision to enrolled nurses and care partners
- Supervise and administer medications in accordance with regulations, policies and scope of practice
- Build relationships with individual residents, families and staff
- Complete reporting and documentation in line with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, professional standards, policies, procedures and Baptistcare values
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated experience as a Registered Nurse within aged care
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead and positively influence a multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of person-centred support
- Willingness to obtain a National Police Check
- Willingness to obtain or provide proof of Influenza & Covid-19 Vaccinations
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical
- Willingness to obtain National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check
- Willingness to obtain or provide proof of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
