An exciting opportunity to join a thriving State Government Organisation has come up for a Registration Officer to join the team on a temporary basis for 3 months. Your new role You will be responsible for:
Application Processing: Handle end-to-end processing of licencing and registration applications within a specified time frame.
Database Management: Create and maintain records for new and existing clients.
Customer Service: Assist with enquiries from external and internal stakeholders via electronic, telephone, and counter channels.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to developing and implementing new practices and procedures.
Compliance: Ensure activities align with relevant legislative frameworks and operational guidelines.
Team Collaboration: Actively participate as a positive team member, solving problems and working cohesively.
Ethical Standards: Maintain impartiality, objectivity, and professionalism while protecting against conflicts of interest.
Performance Excellence: Demonstrate organisational skills and consistent professional behaviour.
Innovation: Identify opportunities for improvement and foster a culture of innovation.
Additional Duties: Undertake other tasks as needed.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in a customer service and administrative role will lead you to success, as will:
Customer Centric Focus: Cultivates and maintains effective relationships with customers.
Problem-Solving skills: Utilises operational guidelines, knowledge, and experience to solve problems. Scans for relevant information, identifies underlying causes, and proposes alternative actions to clients.

Written Communication: Produces a variety of standard written documents. Ensures clarity of information and tailors' language to the intended audience. Strives for a shared understanding and addresses customer needs.
