We are seeking an experienced part-time (48 hours per fortnight) clinical Research Nurse to support a temporary parental leave relief position with the critical care research team. Applicants with previous research experience in critical care are encouraged to apply.We strive to improve patient centred outcomes by conducting investigator led single-centre or multi-centre trials, as well as audits and industry sponsored pharmaceutical trials. The research team provide 24hr support to facilitate clinical trials across a population of critically unwell patients. The successful applicant may be required to be available to provide on call support if required to support specific research trial activity if/when needed.The Clinical Research Nurse will have responsibility for the delivery of direct and indirect clinical trial related care of patients and associated research activities to ensure a high quality service that meets the needs of patients and clients with adherence to legislative requirements of the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) Note for Guidance on Good Clinical Practice (CPMP/ICH/135/95), the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research and applicable state/federal privacy laws.About UsOur workforce of over 13,000 employees are driven by our values of ‘Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence and Safety’ (CARES).
