As a distributor to both food service and retail clients, our product and brand range is extensive across frozen, chilled and dry foods as well as ancillary products like packaging and cleaning goods.

We are the exclusive distributor to many local and international retail products that you know and love and we service an extensive range of the industries across hospitality like Cafes, Restaurants, Function Centres, Caterers, Hotels, Clubs, Takeaways, including many high end well known establishments. Sealane has a national sales network and presence and we are growing in all aspects of our business. With 100 staff, we are now actively looking for passionate people who love a fast faced environment, have a love for food and a love of working collaboratively. We also range to hundreds of independent supermarkets and retails around Australia.

Position Summary:

We are now looking for a person that loves office administration and thrives on providing exceptional customer service and support to both internal and external stakeholders. A master of multiskilling, each day is filled with tasks that require problems solving, so if you love working with different internal departments and liaising with customers then this is the job for you. In this role, you will be located in a contemporary office, and working in a small but crucial team.

On a daily basis you will interact with customers within the food industry by phone and email to provide customer service, process orders and help organise freight. At the same time, you will partner with our salesforce team that are out on the road to support them in meeting their sales targets. You will need to interact with various stakeholders, including our warehouse, finance and procurement teams as well as our drivers/external couriers to ensure that our customers are receiving the best service every day.

This role is fast paced and you will thrive on building amazing relationships with your customers (both internal and external) and always finding a satisfactory solution for them. You will also support our team of sales reps that are out on the road. Your support to them on the ground is essential to their success and growth.

We are looking for a team member who is a real people person and has a really positive outlook on life. Someone who is quick on their feet, great with technology and who has a really warm phone/email manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interacting with your Sales Rep buddy to support them in their sales ambitions. This may include things like: setting up new accounts, following up queries and problems occurring on the accounts.

• Entering new line and promotional data into systems, updating range books and promotional material to support sales campaigns.

• Ensuring data entry into CRM is accurate, generate sales reports and liaise with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure a first-class customer experience is delivered.

• Working as a team to manage promptly and efficiently the team inbox.

• Assisting in the admin around freight and deliveries for orders both within metro Melbourne and nationally.

• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism and integrity.

The approx. split of daily/weekly tasks may look like this:

• 30% Rep Sales Support

• 20% Customer Service (mostly inbound phone calls)

• 20% Group inbox management

• 30% General administration

Skills Needed:

On the job training will of course be provided to you and you will be extremely supported. You will need however, to be a self-starter, someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and loves providing an exceptional customer experience.

You will need to be super organised and be and be able to run rings around the necessary administration required to succeed in this role.

You will need to have exceptional written and verbal communication. You will have a warm, positive and can-do nature. You will have exceptional phone manners and be able to confidently speak to various stakeholders throughout the day. You love working in a team and building amazing relationship both internally and externally.

Previous customer service experience is crucial and experience within the food industry, especially within the retail industry in some way would be a huge bonus.

In summary we are looking for someone with:

• Proficiency in operating systems and solid computer literacy.

• Experience within the Retail/food industry would be a huge bonus.
