Rare and exciting Director role leading the Business Development team

Driving the success of the DHL Supply Chain existing and future customer base, this exciting and challenging, Director role will see you leading our established and high performing Business Development team. Utilising your proven management skills, you will be responsible for:
- Retaining and growing current business with your ability to build long term positive relationships with customers
- Identifying new business opportunities and establishing a genuine pipeline
- Strong leadership in ensuring the safety, culture, welfare, recruitment, retention and development of employees
- Commercial focus to maintain and grow gross margin across the DHL Supply Chain business
- Engaging internal and external stakeholders to meet objectives

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a General Management/Director role within large and complex service related businesses
- Innovative and forward thinking leadership with a focus on driving engagement and a high performance culture
- Strong commercial acumen with an ability to manage a multi layered and complex P&L
- Experience within the Supply Chain and Transport environments
- Experience in sales, Business Development, acquisitions and/or start ups (desirable)
- Strong self motivation, drive & initiative
