The Oppor­tu­ni­ty

We seek a Risk and Com­pli­ance Offi­cer who will pro­vide high lev­el of admin­is­tra­tive sup­port for the imple­men­ta­tion of Council’s inte­grat­ed risk man­age­ment frame­work, and sup­port coun­cil func­tions with­in statu­to­ry, Risk and cor­po­rate gov­er­nance frame­works. You will also assist with the admin­is­tra­tion of Coun­cil’s insur­ance port­fo­lio, deal­ing with all aspects of insur­ance claims and liai­son with claimants and insur­ance providers.

Your respon­si­bil­i­ties will include but not lim­it­ed to facil­i­tate the coor­di­na­tion and main­te­nance of Coun­cil’s risk man­age­ment frame­work, col­late and analyse data, pre­pare reports on risk man­age­ment, inves­ti­gate com­pli­ance issues, process insur­ance claims and report over­all claim out­comes and trends, assist with man­age­ment of lease and license agree­ment, and oth­er duties as required.

• Attrac­tive salary of $86,187.13 exclu­sive of super­an­nu­a­tion plus dis­trict allowance — $ 2611 w/​dependents, $1498 w/​o on pro-rata basis.
• 6 weeks annu­al leave with addi­tion­al gen­er­ous leave enti­tle­ments on pro-rata basis.
