Reporting to the Risk Manager, your responsibilities will include: - Identify key operational risks and supporting controls currently in operation
- Determine expected controls for particular activities being undertaken and compare actual with expected
- Assess control design and operation to determine control effectiveness
- Work with business areas to address control gaps, providing specialist support as necessary
Skills & Experience required
- Previous experience in Risk (line 1 or 2 of defense), within Insurance or Financial Services sectors
- Tertiary qualifications in risk, audit, commerce, compliance and/or legal (desired)
- Previous exposure to Operational Risk regime
