About the role:

The purpose of this role is to ensure that all rostering requests are completed accurately and in a timely manner to reflect participant requests whilst ensuring hours worked by support workers are within the scope of industrial relations obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all rostering enquiries and duties.
  • Coordinate all rostering requests ensuring they are completed accurately and in a timely manner to reflect participant requests, within scope of role.
  • Update and maintain roster changes log on Visual Care (our rostering system) to ensure accuracy of roster changes.
  • Manage and prioritise workload in constantly changing high volume environment to meet participant requests and business needs.
  • Monitor hours worked by support workers to ensure they are working within the scope of industrial relations obligations.
  • Refer newly requested, ongoing changes, and other out of scope enquiries to Client Services Coordinator.
  • Demonstrates friendly, caring and genuine support for the participants and support workers.
  • Prioritise participant needs, and preferences in service delivery.
  • Participation in our Afterhours phone support system

What are we looking for?

  • Knowledge of the disability service industry
  • Experience as a Rostering Coordinator
  • Experience in using electronic rostering systems within disability sector.(Experience with Visual Care is desirable, but not essential)
  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced rostering, administration and data entry role utilising rostering computing systems and customer information databases.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage competing priorities to deliver outcomes to a high standard within agreed timeframes.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to communicate with a diverse range of people and maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Must have a Valid DHS Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check with minimum of 6 months validity.
  • Must hold a current Australian Drivers License.
  • Ability to work effectively in an autonomous role.
  • Problem solving and time management skills.
