Experienced Sales Administrator for an immediate start in Mackay.
Your new company
Join multi-site speciality retailer that has a rich history in the Mackay region since commencing business in 1883. You will join their trades branch specialising in servicing the Bowen Basin and mining clientele.
Your new role
In this role you will find yourself carrying out duties including, but not limited to;
High Level Data Entry
Stock control and ordering
Scheduling freight transfers
Coordinating customer orders.
Following up on quoting and pricing
Preparation of quotes and conversion to orders.
Reconciling customer invoices and pricing enquiries.
Sourcing and purchasing of trade goods and special-order items for clients
Engage with warehouse staff to track and monitor customer orders and ETAs.
- Sales order processing, including processing orders in person, electronically and by telephone
- General administration duties including filing & following up all phone calls, quotes, and emails.
- Any other duties as directed & required.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will require the following;
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- The ability to work independently and within a team
- A minimum of 2 years experience in Sales administration experience
- Highly regarded but not essential sales administration experience in mining or industrial services
- Substantial knowledge and experience utilising computer programs including Microsoft Suites & CRM systems
- High-level communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to foster strong working relationships
