Following significant year-on-year growth, we seek a person to be a key part of our team to as we continue to experience strong demand from existing customers, and as we implement our plans to expand to new market segments.
This customer-focused role with dual responsibilities supporting the company’s sales and marketing functions will suit someone who is highly practical, with strong administrative capabilities, a creative streak and broad digital skills.
What you will be doing
SALES ADMINISTRATION:
- Maintain currency and integrity of our customer, supplier and inventory database
- Facilitate orders into our system and assist customer inquiries on their order fulfilment
- Work with our sales manager to produce sales materials, price lists and sales reports
- Provide the sales team and customers with product details and collateral as needed
- Undertake data analyses on performance, such as by customer, product, territory, brand and campaign
- Turn data into sales intelligence that the sales team can use to help customers’ buying decisions, increase CLV (customer lifetime value) and identify new opportunities
To fulfil this requirement, you must have an attention to detail, be proficient in Excel, and apply an analytical mindset as you develop knowledge of our product ranges. Experience in retail sales would be an advantage.
MARKETING ASSISTANCE:
- Produce professional marketing materials for print and online
- Assist with copywriting for our sales promotions
- Coordinate eDMs and other marketing communications
- Assist preparations for industry events such as Toy Fair and running promotional activities
To excel in this role, you must have experience creating graphics for various media, including PowerPoint and websites. Proficiency with digital tools is essential, along with a knack for research and self-directed learning to stay ahead with the latest software.
