CMP Stone Tools is a Machinery, Tooling and Equipment supplier to the Stone Benchtop Fabrication Industry with more than 30 years’ experience. We have an opportunity for a highly motivated and ambitious person to join our company and Sales Team, as we enter an exciting period of growth and Business Development.
This full-time position is based in our Melbourne Office in Hallam, but your working week will be primarily spent visiting clients at their premises in Melbourne, both metro and rural. You will possess a passion and hunger for sales. Your strong interpersonal skills will be a key driver to your sales success, as well as your ability to build strong customer relationships. You are confident and comfortable dealing with a broad customer base of people. Customer service and satisfaction are your most important values. You will be assisting our customers to operate their ideal business with the sale of stone consumables, tooling, and equipment products.
A history in sales success and/or Business Development role in stone, construction, or other relevant industries will be desirable but not paramount. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment are essential.
Attention to detail, a thirst for knowledge and learning, computer literacy and having a customer centric mindset are intrinsically important. You must be highly organized, motivated, and comfortable with numbers, sales targets and budgets. CRM savvy will be welcomed.
You will be working within a great team of people in a company, renowned for exceptional products and quality service. Training, support, and mentoring will be provided and valued.
Tasks may include but not be limited to:
- Visit and liaise with Stone Fabrication Shops for T & E Sales and Business Development.
2. Maintain existing and hunting for new customer accounts.
3. Stock management & replenishment.
4. Daily data entry of items sold and invoiced to clients.
5. Mobile Sales Company Van or Motor Vehicle provided.
6. Sound/Intermediate computer literacy and knowledge preferable.
