About the Role
Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, and partnering closely with colleagues all over the world as well as in the Melbourne office where you'll be based (with hybrid flexibility), you’ll be focused on expanding our APAC customer base by identifying and winning new business customers for Netcraft services.
You’ll being by shadowing senior sales members, generating leads for Business Development to close by proactively identifying and nurturing high-potential prospects.
After gaining an invaluable amount of commercial awareness and training, you will have the opportunity to start to manage the sales process yourself, from start to finish.
This is what you’ll be doing, day to day:
- Identifying new accounts through proactive prospecting and qualifying new outbounds.
- Engaging with potential customers via a multi-channel approach of cold calls, personalised emails, LinkedIn and video conferencing.
- Developing, testing, and iterating outbound campaigns to drive new sales opportunities.
- Managing and maintaining a pipeline of interested prospects.
- Keeping detailed notes of activities and ensure data cleanliness in Hubspot/Salesforce.
About You
You will ideally have prior BDR/SDR experience within the technology sector/cybersecurity, although not essential, and:
- Experience building a pipeline by developing new opportunities through outbound activities;
- A proactive, professional and self-driven approach demonstrates initiative in seeking out new opportunities;
- Successful track record in meeting and exceeding goals and KPIs;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with key stakeholders;
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment;
- Ability to familiarise yourself with our products and pitch new services, focusing on value proposition; and
- An interest in cybersecurity and an eagerness to learn.
