Sales And Marketing Manager

The Yering Meadows Golf Club formerly known as the Croydon Golf Club was established in
1925, and over the years, it has earned the reputation of being the premier golf club in the eastern
suburbs of Melbourne.

The 27-hole layout, located on 330 acres in the Yarra Valley, the world-class course designed
by Architect Ross Watson, is arguably the finest in the area. Yering Meadows is renowned as a
very friendly club, and the clubhouse facilities provide the ideal surroundings for the
relaxation and enjoyment of members and guests.
We are looking for a dynamic and creative Sales and Marketing Manager to join us. You will
be pivotal in executing Sales and Marketing strategy and driving revenue growth
across all our segments and offerings. Reporting to the General Manager, you will have exceptional planning and organisational skills.

Specific duties required of the candidate
 Lead the strategic direction and management of the Yering Meadows.
 Develop and execute the annual marketing calendar to drive brand awareness and
revenue growth.
 Develop and implement strategic plans to foster membership growth and retention
 Deliver the required sales targets for the site by supporting and motivating staff to
achieve performance goals.
 Planning, execution, and administration of all elements of golf courses, member golf
competitions, corporate events, and cafes.
 Engage consumers through social media and other digital technology.

Key Skills
 5 years of proven Sales and Marketing management experience.
 Have event & function coordination experience.
 Possess excellent writing, proofreading and verbal communication skills.
 Strong knowledge of social media and related skills such as photography and content
creation.
 Ability to lead the Sales and Marketing teams.
 Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet required deadlines.
 Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends (if necessary).
 A genuine interest and/or passion in golf and understanding of the golf market is a plus..
Please note that working in the industry is not a prerequisite but having the drive to
succeed and take our golf operations to the next level is.
 Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
